I saw the title and immediately got pulled in. I'm not sure I will watch the whole season but I will give the first episode a shot.
Soapnet - On the premiere of SOAPnet's new series Bank of Mom and Dad, New York girl Christina gets a reality check when her parents move in, take over her finances, and attempt to put her back on the path to independence. Get to know this footloose and fancy-free French teacher before her episode airs, this Wednesday at 10PM/9c on SOAPnet!
Christina fancies herself the classic "Single Girl in the City." Life is a whirling party of overseas travel, pedicures, massages, yoga, tanning and fancy gourmet dinners against the backdrop of New York City. But Christina doesn't have the income to back up her jet-setting lifestyle. Not only does she have mounting bills, she has no health insurance because she prefers to travel. Plus, she's about to lose the car she doesn't even need to unpaid parking tickets.
Moving in with Christina are her divorced parents, Lorraine and Henri, who will live together under the same roof for the first time in years. They are shocked to discover how huge her debt is. With the help of money coach Farnoosh Torabi, they will try to make Christina face reality, on the series premiere of Bank of Mom and Dad -- this Wednesday at 10PM/9c!
